This DVD features scenes from the 2006 Centennial celebrations of the Nevada Northern Railway. The original locomotives, rolling stock and buildings remain as a lasting living museum to western railroading. The DVD opens with a brief historical description of the line's construction and then sample the weekend's events including scenes around East Ely depot and locomotive shops, an interview with the Museum's Executive Director Mark Bassett, a caboose ride on one of #40's 'Ping Pong trips', a cab ride on board the 1909 vintage ALCO 2-8-0 #93 and lineside action along the route from Ely to Ruth. Finally, a selection of other SVS Film DVDs are previewed including 'Standard in Sussex', 'Challenger of Tour 2003', 'Chama to Cumbres Pass - a Steam Classic', 'Espee Xtras', 'Fall Cab Ride to Cumbres', 'Three Seasons at Durango' and 'Ride the Milwaukee Road with 261'.

"SVS Film continues to provide a quality product at a reasonable price, with outstanding views not generally seen elsewhere and crisp, sharp audio. In this latest release, given the limitations of a locomotive cab, the sequences are outstanding. The banter between engineer and fireman is a delight, especially about being a show off, when the pops lifted! With the recent removal of #93 from service for extensive (and Expensive!), repairs, it will likely be some time before we see this locomotive in service again. NN deserves support, hopefully this fine video will provide some riders and perhaps some donations as well. As I have said in the past, this new release from SVS, only makes one hunger for more."
