Telecine Services - transfer 8mm and 16mm cine film to DVD and digital formats

This new service gives you the chance to see those old home movies again, this time on DVD or in editable video files! Firstly, the film is cleaned, and any breaks are repaired. Then, using the latest digital technology, the Super 8, Standard 8mm or 16mm film is scanned frame by frame. In the computer editing system the high resolution images are checked, any blank sections are deleted and where possible, colours corrected. Finally, the restored sequences are transferred to DVD with case. Chapter points are added at the start of each reel to aid viewing. If you want to receive video files for further editing in your own video editing system, other output formats are available - please let us know your requirements.

Pricing is simple - minimum charge £25, 13p per foot of film onto one DVD disc with case (e.g. £26 for 200 foot reel), extra DVD copies £7.50 each. Postage and packing (Royal Mail 'Signed For') charged at cost. Discounts are available for larger projects - please email SVS Film with your requirements.
