ContentsCustomer commentsAudio Track ListHow to orderContents:This audio CD contains 39 minutes of pure British steam action sounds, ranging from BR Standard Class 5MT 73096 at speed near North Camp, to footplate sounds on board 75027 between Sheffield Park and Sharpthorne Tunnel on the Bluebell Railway. Mainline action continues with 60009 and 34067 west of Basingstoke, and on train with 71000 'Duke of Gloucester' climbing from Weymouth to Bincombe Tunnel and Poole to Branksome. 35005 is heard on train climbing Witley Bank, and 34016 'Bodmin' leaving Alton on the climb to Medstead. The finale is the lineside sound of rebuilt Bulleid Pacific 34016 double-heading 71000 during their climb from Alton to Medstead.

Track 4 - 8mins 15sec75027 footplate sounds from fixed position behind the driver on the run from Hortsed Keynes to the summit at Sharpthorne Tunnel, Bluebell Line. After 6mins 40secs the driver whistles for the tunnel entrance, and again at 7mins 44secs when the engine emerges into the daylight.
Track 5 - 6mins 52secs75027 again, this time with a hand-held microphone to capture both in cab sounds of firing and the outside sounds of the engine exhaust. Again the passage through the tunnel is heard from 5mins 41 secs to 6mins 36secs.
Track 6 - 1min 1secOn train sounds of 35005 climbing Witley Bank at speed between Guildford and Haslemere, 14/4/02.
Track 7 - 1min 52secs34016 on train sounds leaving Alton at the start of the climb to Medstead, 21/7/05.
Track 8 - 10mins 18sec71000 on train sounds from the leading coach of the whole climb from Weymouth through Bincombe Tunnel (entering the tunnel at 7mins 38secs and leaving the tunnel with a triumphant whistle at 8mins 46secs and then rapidly picking up speed towards Dorchester), 9/7/05.
